Dear Second Grade Parents,
I hope you enjoyed this gorgeous long weekend with your family.
On Friday, we enjoyed our Valentine celebration in our class. We watched, Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown, and enjoyed a treat with juice. The kids loved reading all the valentine cards and treat bags they received from their friends. Thank you for all the chocolates and cards!
SAVE THE DATE:
First Reconciliation for your second grader will be on Tuesday, March 24th at 1:00 P.M. Students will be wearing their uniform on this day.
Take A LOOK at our Week:
FLAT PERSON PROJECT: I sent home an envelope with all the correspondence that has been collected throughout the last few months. I also attached a neon letter, which provides information on the project. Just a reminder that as much mail as possible needs to be neatly displayed on the board. Then any extra letters, cards and pictures may be placed in a thin binder. This completed project can come to school on March 3rd. School Fair is on Wednesday, March 4th from 6:30-7:45 pm. If you need to have an idea of what size, please stop by the classroom to see a sample.
Please contact your child’s flat person if he/she has not returned them yet. I have a few flat students who may be stuck in the snowstorms in the east coast.
