Dear Second Grade Parents,

I thank all of you for taking time out of your day to attended our parent-teacher conferences last week. I appreciate ALL you do to support your child’s academics!

Our Christmas Program will be on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. We will have a dress rehearsal at 1:30 on Wednesday.

Here is a look at our week.

Homework: NO HOMEWORK (NO IXL, NO READING LOG, NO FLUENCY)!!!!!!!

I have asked the students to give me the best gift of all by reading daily at home for fun (no logging in reading log).

English Language Arts:

Reading: We will be reviewing all reading strategies we have practiced throughout our first trimester. No new strategy this week.

Spelling: We do not have any new words this week. We will be taking our spelling tests on Thursday.

Math: We will continue reviewing math facts through games.

Religion: Advent & Christmas

Reminders:

Tuesday and Thursday: P.E.

Wednesday: Free Dress on Wednesday $1.00 donation for St. Vincent de Paul.Dress Rehearsal for our Christmas Program, LIBRARY BOOKS DUE ON WEDNESDAY NOT THURSDAY.

Friday: Free “Free” Dress; Celebrations in classroom.
