Our third graders spent time studying the Native American Tribes of California!
We worked together in collaborative groups to study The Chumash, Yokut, Cahuilla, Shasta, Mojave, and Pomo tribes.
We learned so much about their customs and traditions, where they settled, how they lived, hunted, and created beautiful art.
To wrap up all of our great learning, we worked together to create dioramas for each tribe we studied!
