reading: This week in reading we will focus on biographies and work to summarizing our reading- only focusing on the important details in our summaries.
writing: This week we will work to make connections within and across our chapters as we work on the strategies to transition from one idea to another.
word work: Word work lists can be found in your child’s planner or their Kids A-Z app (on their kindles). Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
religion: Advent has begun! This week we will talk about the importance of Advent and how we use these four weeks to prepare our hearts for Christ’s arrival. Through bible stories and real life situations we will discuss this week’s Advent theme–hope.
science: We will learn about how nature can slowly change the appearance of an animal using the process of selection.
Have a great week!
