Third grade families,
I hope you all enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend.
We have been having so much fun with our balloon summer break countdown! So far we have Zoomed with our pen pals, had a fun chalk day in the sun, enjoyed reading at the 1st & 3rd Grade Cafe, and a frozen treat outside! I can’t wait to see what fun activities we get to do this week!
Important Dates
- Tuesday, May 31: Last day of PE
- Wednesday, June 1: Last art class with Miss Sofer
- Thursday, June 2: Family Field Day & free, free dress in family color. Please take a look at the family letter to find out what color your child needs to wear!
- Thursday, June3: 12p dismissal
We have a lot going on next week, please make sure to also stay updated on upcoming school wide events on our school calendar!

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week
math: This week we will be doing several fun, math related activities & games to review all we’ve learned this school year!
reading: This week we are working on putting together our animal research poster presentations! We hope to present by Thursday or Monday 🙂
writing: We have completed our writing units! We will turn to creative writing, reflecting on and writing all about our school year in third grade.
religion: This week we wrap up our final chapter in our religion books, God’s Family Celebrates the Eucharist.
art: Last art class with Miss Sofer! We can’t wait to see her next year!
