Dear Families,
This is my last week in 4thgrade before my maternity leave. I wanted to take this time to thank all of you for your support this past year. I look forward to hearing the progress of these incredible kids!
Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are wrapping up Unit 6 this week. We will put the final touches on our lessons as we prepare for our test at the end of the week!
ELA:
-Reading: Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! Again, I remind all to turn in our RRJs on our due date this week. All RRJs are due by 3pm. We continue to work from our second reading unit – nonfiction.
-Writing: We are wrapping up our second unit in writing – Personal and Persuasive Essays. We are busily writing our persuasive drafts!
-Spelling: We will have spelling this week! Please see your student’s daily planner for their words!
Social Studies:We are finishing our mission projects this week!
Science:We will be taking a break from Science for a bit as we focus on our missions.
Religion:We are working on Chapter 18 from our textbooks
Homework:
Monday: SMJ p. 163A-163B – RRJ
Tuesday: SMJ p. 165 – RRJ – Finish Social Studies Chapter Review
Wednesday: SMJ p. 168 – RRJ – Study for Social Studies test
Thursday: SMJ p. 168 – Study for Math Test – Read
Friday: Read and Prepare for next week’s RRJ
We will have a Family activity via Zoom this week at 1:45pm.
