Our week in 4^thgrade…

Please remember to send your student with enough water on these hot days!

Math: We are wrapping up Unit 1: Naming and Constructing Geometric Figures. This week we are still working on constructing circles, hexagons, and triangles. We will finish the week with our first test!

ELA:

-Writing: We are continuing our realistic fiction writing this week.

-Reading: Our Reading Response Journals are due! If you have any questions please see the directions that went home last week or contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!

-Spelling: Our words are in our daily planners. We hope to take our test Thursday afternoon before Grandparents Day is here!

Social Studies:We are working on our second lesson. We will be learning about California’s regions.

Science:We will continue working on our science lessons as we dive into water ecosystems.

Religion:We are in our second chapter of our religion books: God Speaks to Us in Scripture. Be sure to check out our Worship Wednesday post!

School Picture Day is September 4^th! 

Friday, September 6^this Grandparents and Special Friends Day at SHS and a noon dismissal. Please meet us in the church for mass. Following mass, grandparents will be invited up to the hall for some refreshments before joining us in the classroom for some fun!
