Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are wrapping up Unit 2. This week we are working on subtraction of multidigit numbers. We will be learning about the trade first method and the partial differences method. Please help your child master these subtraction strategies by using them to complete the homework.
ELA:
-Writing: We are working hard on our realistic fiction writing as we continue our story and character developments this week.
-Reading: Our Reading Response Journals are due once each week! If you have any questions please let me know. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
Social Studies:We are beginning our second unit: California’s Early History. This week we learn about California Indians.
Science:We will be working on how organisms adapt to survive. If you have a shoebox at home, please send it in! I am looking for 7 boxes for a class project!
Religion:We are in our sixth chapter of our religion books: Jesus Invites Us to Receive God’s Mercy. Be sure to check out our Worship Wednesday post!
