Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are still working on Unit 5. This week we will look at big number and powers of 10.
ELA:
-Reading: Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! We are working hard to remember to turn in our RRJs on our due date this week. We continue to work from our second reading unit – nonfiction
-Writing: We are working from our second unit in writing – Personal Essays
-Spelling: We will have spelling this week! Please see your student’s daily planner for their words!
Social Studies:We are continuing to work through chapter 3 – Missions and Mexican Rule! We will begin our third lesson this week and continue to discuss our upcoming mission projects.
Science:We will be working from our Science books this week as we move on to our second lesson in Chapter 3.
Religion:We are beginning Chapter 14 this week as we discuss how we honor and obey.
Homework:
Tuesday: SMJ p. 129 (posted on Edmodo by 9am Wednesday morning)– RRJ
Wednesday: IXL Math Skill D.28 – RRJ
Thursday: IXL Math Skill D.30 – RRJ
