Happy Twosday!
Here’s our week in 4th grade…
Math: We are beginning our Unit 6. We will begin looking at multiplication and division this week. We will focus on number stories to begin!
ELA:
-Writing: We are continuing our writing. We will be looking at how to end our drafts and prepare for our next type of essay – persuasive.
-Reading: We are working on our nonfiction unit. Please help by encouraging nonfiction books at home! We are writing 7 sentences in cursive for our second trimester RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week. This week is a fiction response. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class.
-Spelling: No new spelling words this week!
Social Studies: We are working on the construction of our missions!
Science: We are moving on to our next lesson in our science books. We will look at microorganisms this week.
Religion: This week we will work on Chapter 20 from our religion books. Please encourage your child to bring home their book to reread the chapter before our quiz at the end of the week.
