Our onlineweek in 4thgrade…
Again, I ask that you remind your student not to go ahead with either classwork or homework. This is my goal for the week and we may or may not get to all of these lessons/activities.
Math: We are working on review and multiplying fractions by whole numbers. We are aiming to take our first online math test at the end of the week.
All Week Classwork:Practice multiplication flash cards.
ELA:
-Writing: We are word on our writing contest.
-Reading: Please see Edmodo.com for our Reading Response Journal this week.
-Spelling: We will be working on Words Their Way this week.
All Week Classwork: Read selected pages from your historical fiction book! Remember to study your spelling words – test will be on Thursday.
Social Studies:We will be working on lesson 3 in Chapter 5. We will look at agriculture after California becomes a state.
Wednesday Classwork: Story Writing on Edmodo.
Friday Classwork:Lesson 3 Quiz on Edmodo
Science: This week we continue with Chapter 5 and learning about rocks and minerals!
Tuesday Classwork:Work on page 11 in circle book.
Thursday Classwork:Work on page 12 in circle book.
Religion:We are working Ventures magazine in the beginning of the week and then will work on our Beatitude book in the later half of the week.
Homework
Monday: IXL Math Skill Q.12– RRJ
Tuesday: IXL Math Skill S.1 – RRJ
Wednesday: IXL Math Skill S.2 – RRJ
