RELIGION
We are still celebrating the Easter season and yesterday we made beautiful banners. We are focusing our attentions this week on God’s Healing Love – reconciliation.
MATH
We’ve done a little “catching up and remembering where we left off” both yesterday and today. We are continuing with fractions, decimals and percents.
SCIENCE
We are continuing with the Law of Conservation of Mass. We did work on this before Easter…we are wrapping up and we will test on Thursday.
ELA
Reading: We started the week with Bud, Not Buddy after finishing Signs of the Beaver with a movie before Easter break. We will be focusing on improving our understanding of different perspectives and points of view.
Our focus for grammar this week will be suffixes and interjections.
Our focus in writing will be persuasive writing.
Word Work: New sorts for all. All students are working with Latin roots and Greek words. We will be adding a new app to our Kindle to access new words that contain our Latin roots or Greek words.
