As the 6th grade class began the study of the first civilizations, they explored the Agricultural Revolution and farming methods. Using their history book, movies, and special guests in the classroom they learned how farming began and how it works today in their own backyards in Ventura! Next they had a feast of many foods that are over thousands of years old including lentils, dates, pomegranates, and flat bread. Everyone tried at least one new food.
