The eighth graders braved the rain today and traveled to Los Angeles to the cathedral.  We spent the morning working with the Adopt-a-Family Program located in the basement of the cathedral stuffing stockings with candy.  We enjoyed working with each other while being of service to others.  The time passed quickly and we surpassed our goal by filling 1300 stockings!  These stockings will accompany the teddy bears that were donated by Sacred Heart students last week and will be delivered this Saturday to over 400 families.  We then attended mass at the cathedral, enjoying the music, the peaceful beauty, and praying together.
