Dear Kindergarten Families,
Your students are doing great work! Today we enjoyed sharing homework, especially the nice coloring on the sight word page. As always spend that quality time reading with your child. Work for the week:
- Reading Log
- Sight word coloring practice
- Print practice paper (in folder)
- Work on sight words in the Giraffe booklet. Testing will begin next week.
Visit the IXL site for practice with tally mark counting as well as counting on and back to and from ten. It is important to do some or all of these problems, knowing your child’s comfort level.

Sites for extra learning and fun mouse practice-
Kindergarten children could use more practice with the mouse. These sites will help with maneuvering the mouse with fun math games.
Splat 100 – identify numbers by splatting different colors and/or count by 1, 5, or 10.
