Every Thursday the eighth grade class reads the upcoming Sunday Gospel. This Sunday is the eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time and the Gospel focuses on the idea of trusting in God. We discussed ways of not focusing on material goods so that we can grow in spirit. Each student reflected on one worry and then we discussed strategies to alleviate the worry. Some of their ideas were to pray more often, think of others in need, and communicate more with parents. Our goal for the week is to trust in God and worry less! Enjoy the weekend!
