Kindergarten Families,
Next week’s work on the World Book Web will be a choice to compare bugs or fish and sea creatures or reptiles. If your child wants to do more than one paper- that is fine! This will be the last of the comparison papers for the School Fair.
Read with your child each night for 15 – 20 minutes. Have your child get used to retelling the story components during and after reading. Then use this paper to write or draw about one of their favorites.
Use the 100 grid paper to solve a Hidden Picture. We have worked on two of these in class. A good together time – print out two copies and work as partners. Calling out numbers to be colored – you will see their number recognition strength and/or weakness. This is a fun way for them to get familiar with double digit numbers across the rows and columns.
