Our Music teacher, Joel Doswell, works with kindergarten-eighth grade students to complete the California Music Standards, plays guitar in class & in church, assists with our Christmas & spring music programs, and directs The Talent Show for students in grades 5-8. He teaches our students to read music and play instruments with growing skill and there are several things that would assist him in this effort. The Knights of Columbus graciously offered to have all proceeds from their Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 27th from 7:30a-12p support those efforts. Recently the 5th grade students played a recital of pieces each had practiced to performance quality using laminated paper keyboards. Mr. Doswell would like to add to the number of keyboards available for our students and will use money given by The Knights of Columbus to Sacred Heart School’s music program to do so. Please come and enjoy a pancake breakfast prepared by The Knights on Sunday morning, March 27th and add to Mr. Doswell’s arsenal of musical tools for our students.

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
