Dear Kindergarten Families,

Continue with a little extra reading  as we work toward the end of March. Every log or Reading Glue with over 100 minutes listed earns an extra ticket for our drawing. Since this month started everyone is earning lots of tickets! I appreciate your support!

You’ll find the Young Explorer National Geographic magazine in your child’s folder. This is to read and keep at home.  Use non-fiction form and have your child respond to facts and information. Use any informational reading material. Add that time reading to the book log.

Continue to practice poems or find a poem during this homework period. Remember the poem needs to be published to be in the contest. Google kids poems look for Christina Rossetti, Poetry 4 Kids, Shel Silverstein short and sweet poems, and Fizzy Funny Fuzzy fun poems for kids to name a few. If you still need help please let me know. Please send me a copy or an email with poem.

No new ixl this week – feel free to review and practice previous exercises in math and language arts.

You can always explore previous postings by clicking on “Our Students” or visiting our website look for drop down menu under Our Students.

Enjoy your weekend!

Blessings,

Mrs. Brown
