Reading: This week we wrap up our non-fiction reading unit! We will continue working on our biography projects. Simultaneously, we will discuss the characteristics and strategies used when reading narrative non-fiction texts and work to use those strategies in other types of non-fiction texts, too!
Writing: This week we also wrap up our informational writing unit. We will spend this week polishing our writing pieces and begin publishing.
Word Work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Thursday.
Religion: We will take time to reflect on our bible verse of the week and then begin working through Chapter 13-Jesus came to give us life.
Science: We will step into the shoes of scientists and investigate the question, why do plants give us fruit?
Social Studies: We will learn all about natural resources, most specifically in California.
Have a wonderful week!
Blessings,
