Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are beginning Unit 7 this week. We will be looking at fractions!
ELA:
-Writing: We are getting back into writing. We will turn our focus to persuasive essays
-Reading: Reading Responses are due each week. This week we look at nonfiction texts. Remember to see our example in our journals for help!
-Spelling: Spelling test on Thursday.
Social Studies:We are starting a new unit! This week we begin our lessons on the Gold Rush!
Science: This week we move to Chapter 4 in our science books. We will look at matter in our ecosystems.
Religion:We are working on chapter 20 in our religion books this week. We will also spend some time talking about Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season. Our quiz will be on Friday.
Homework:
Monday: Math Worksheet – Reading Response Journal
Tuesday: Math Worksheet – Reading Response Journal
Wednesday: Reading Response Journal – Study for Spelling Test
Thursday: IXL Skill V.1 – Reading Response Journal – Study for Religion Quiz
Upcoming School Notices:
Tuesday and Thursday are PE days
Monday and Wednesday are music days
Wednesday is library day
Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. We will be attending mass as a school at 8:30am. If your schedule permits, please join us!
Friday is a noon dismissal.
