Sneak Peek of our Academic Week
math: We continue working on our geometry unit. This week we will work on drawing and measuring angles.
reading: As we reach the end of our character study unit, we will continue using the story elements. By focusing on the story elements, we will think deeper and ask: How do the characters, setting, problem, and resolutions connect and why did the author include this in the story? Focusing on author’s craft is a great way to work on our inferential comprehension!
writing: This week we will proofread and edit our pieces, then we will begin to publish!
word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner and on Kids A-Z. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
religion: This week we will read through Chapter 23- God Forgives Us. We will continue to read Bible Stories that show this, then we will discuss how we can incorporate forgiveness in our own lives. We will also take part in mass this week.
Have a great week!
