Sacred Heart’s middle school recently participated in “Departments”. Students like that they can build their own little community and grow closer together. During departments, students conversed about helping our school by picking up trash and recycling. Middle school enjoys doing activities together and learning how to keep our school and community in shape.
Our Service department made “thinking of you” cards to accompany Sacred Heart Church food pantry deliveries.
There are two other groups, Spirituality in 6th and Social in 8th, and they help too, like making cards and posters that remind us to take care of our Earth.
Spirituality worked on prayers and reflections that will be read to the school on Friday mornings and our Social Department worked on fundraiser posters, and planning fun activities to share with our school. Departments is an opportunity for the entire school to grow closer to one another and work together as one connected team.
