Dear Kindergarten Families,
Holy Week is upon us. This short week is packed with Easter preparations and events. If your schedule permits, please join us for Living Stations on Wednesday at 2:00. We will be seated and ready by 1:55.
Your children have more beautiful art and writings coming home. Several “Take Home” folders have been returned today, if yours is at home….please send in tomorrow or Wednesday.
Language arts: Letter sounds, counting the sounds in each word, counting words in a sentence. Reading for fun and to learn; also writing how to catch the Easter Bunny!
Math: understanding the number grid; adding by ones and by tens. Counting by fives.
Science: Wednesday morning we will use plastic Easter eggs and make little sailboats. The trick is to use just the right amount of playdoh to keep them afloat.
We will work on some Seesaw activities in class – if needed, finish activities at home.
That’s about it for this short week!
Easter Break begins on Holy Thursday – school resumes April 25.
Have a blessed Holy Week and beautiful Easter Sunday.
Mrs. Brown
