Dear Families,

This is a short week for us as Friday is Veterans Day.  Please enjoy your long weekend.  Since we will not be at school on Friday we will be going to mass on Thursday.  Please feel free to join us if your schedule allows.

We continue to sell water bottles on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Water bottles are $1.00 each.

Below is an overview of our week:

Vocabulary: Unit 6

Spelling: Unit 4

Science: We will have our chapter 2 test on Tuesday and then we will start chapter 3, which is all about the human body.

Religion: We will begin talking about Confirmation being the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit.

Math:  We continue our work with writing and solving equations. We will also be using equations to problem solve.

Social Studies:  We will continue to discuss the Eastern Woodland Native Americans. We will also learn to identify Causes and Effects.

English:  We are writing thank you letters to Veterans.  We will also be using a thesaurus.

Literature:  We will continue reading our novel, Indian in the Cupboard.
