Fourth grade is really enjoying Judy Blume’s Superfudge. This week we read to discover how Peter and Fudgie adjust to their new school. Today there was a lot of laughter as we read about Fudgie’s first day of kindergarten!
After the geometry test tomorrow (Tuesday) we will begin our unit on statistics and graphing. I will also be assigning multiplication and division problems to keep those skills fresh.
The chapter 9 social studies vocabulary test will be Thursday. We will read and discuss chapter 10, the final chapter, but I will not be testing on the chapter. The wax museum project will be entered as a test grade instead. I know the students are working hard on their project.
We have one more short chapter left to explore for science. We have just concluded “Rapid Changes on Earth,” and will now be discussing “Slow Changes on Earth.”
During religion we will be discussing the life and miracles of Jesus. This week, Mass will be on Thursday. Friday is a non-school day, as is Monday.
I hope you have a great family weekend as we remember all those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
Mrs. Sharon Redmond
