Mesopotamia Recreated

6th Grade By November 27, 2018 No Comments

The sixth grade class finished studying the first civilizations such as Sumer, Assyria and Babylonia. All of these ancient places were in Mesopotamia or the Cradle of Civilization. To show our knowledge they worked in groups and created dioramas of the farms or ziggaruts. The projects came out looking great.

Ancient Gods and Demons

6th Grade By October 17, 2018 No Comments

The sixth grade class is studying the ancient Sumerian culture. Part of their culture included worshiping gods and fearing demons. They built complicated structures to worship their deities called ziggurats. In the computer lab today they designed ziggurats on a sketch website. They are great artists!
