The week before Easter the first graders were on butterfly watch.  Our caterpillars had turned into chrysalises and we were very excited.  They waited for us…and today two of them have emerged from their chrysalises and are the most beautiful monarch butterflies we have ever seen!

Look closely at the picture of the chrysalis…you can see the wings inside!
