From one last Zoom start to the morning to recognize our graduates and learn their high school destinations, to The End of the School Year Parade in our school parking lot, the 2019-2020 school year came to a close on Wednesday, June 3. It was a trimester of advancing curriculum, working together in Music and […]
Only a few more days and we complete our most unusual third trimester. When we started our accreditation visit on March 3rd, we never imagined a year end like this. But here we are, and we continue to make the best of it! It has been an incredible three months; our hardworking students, families, and […]
We join with families celebrating Moms, Grandmas, Aunts, Sisters, and all women who play a maternal roll in our lives! Happy Mothers’ Day!
Our 8th grade leaders have prepared the agenda for the afternoon assembly, and learning who celebrates May birthdays and who won The Palmisano Writing Contest are just two of the interesting topics for this gathering. See you there!
This week, we gather online to celebrate our winter sport girls and boys basketball— boys on Monday, May 4 and girls on Tuesday, May 5. In normal circumstances, this celebration occurs at the end of March as we recognize our athletes at school assemblies and at a local pizza restaurant. We have dinner & dessert […]
Friday afternoon, May 1st, our 8th grade students traveled in threes to spend time with students in Kindergarten through 7th grade leading an Art activity to create the SHS Love Bug. Since March 19, we have been at home during the school day and all of our classes are doing great things: Science experiments, speeches and stories, Greek architecture, reading Chains, a “field trip” to a berry farm, a Crazy Hair Day, measurement, writing, reading, & praying for those facing so much challenge. We still cannot […]
As we celebrate Easter, “Safer at Home”, we acknowledge the many who give their time and talent away from their homes. Our blessings as they do their important work; may they be safe and well. And may their hard work bring us closer to when we can be together again.
Our school week is short as staff and students meet Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for the first and second sessions each day, and families spend Holy Thursday and Good Friday at home. There will be no school sessions on Thursday or Friday as The Easter Triduum is the focus of those days. We wish all […]
