FOURTH GRADE IS GOING TO OLIVAS ADOBE! This Wednesday the fourth grade class will experience life during California’s rancho period. Students will rope a bull, make tortillas, stomp mud to make adobe bricks, and tour the Rancho Olivas Adobe. Watch for pictures to be posted soon!
We had a wonderful time together as we ventured up the El Camino Real to our destination, La Purisima Mission. Padre Serra would be proud! We are so very lucky to have experienced this piece of California history that is also part of our Catholic history.

Fourth graders have been enjoying our Gooseberry Park vocabulary and character tree. Each leaf of our brightly colored fall tree carries a vocabulary word from the book. Students have searched the internet for chocolate labs, squirrels, and other exciting characters that have been part of our days for the last 5 weeks.
