A reminder to all sixth and seventh graders: We have finished work on our lemonade stand spreadsheets and one person from each “partnership” should have sent me the file via email by now.
Starting now, the second half of the first trimester, grades 6, 7, and 8 will receive a work packet every Tuesday instead of every other week. We will ask for your input on this new system when we meet for parent conferences.

The 6th grade viewed amazing pictures and video from King Tut’s display and discussed Egyptian culture. The vocabulary word from their lesson is kitchen midden, which is a fancy term for ancient history garbage!

The 6th grade is examining archaeology. Today we visited Pompeii and learned about Mount Vesuvius. The students are now creating a cave drawing of their world today so archaeologists in the future will know about their life!
