The 7th grade class is beginning their religion studies this year with examining the life of Jesus. The goal is to understand Him as both divine and human and to improve our friendship with Him.
This week in 5th grade we are reviewing the five forms of prayer. The Holy Spirit inspires expressions of prayers: blessing, petition, intercession, thanksgiving and praise.
During the 8th grade year we will study the life of Jesus and the Gospels in depth. To begin this exploration we compare the 4 Gospel writers points of view, audience, style of writing, and message. Our goal is to incorporate the Gospel values and messages into our daily life. (SLEA4)

The 6th grade continues their study of the Old Testament. We are learning about Moses and the Ten Commandments. We are discussing how to be respectful to God and kind towards each other based on the 10 Commandments.
During Lent the 8th grade class leads the school in weekly Stations of the Cross. The whole class participates and does an amazing job walking the Passion of Christ and reflecting on how to get closer to Him during Lent. Please join us if you can. Check our school calendar for Friday times!
