The 6th grade class had fun looking at their favorite Dr. Seuss characters and creating a book cover with the characters and a moral message. There were messages about faith, kindness, friendship, family, and, trust.
The 8th grade read two primary sources from people that were on the Trail of Tears. A young Native American boy and a soldier. After discussing it they drew pictures to represent the event. We will continue to read about the trails west and the settling of territories.
