The middle school students completed their Advent action booklets today. Each student had 6-7 entries describing the wonderful actions they would take to prepare for the coming of Jesus. Some ideas were helping around the house, reading to little sisters and brothers, walking pets, praying, and being nice to family and friends. Please encourage them to continue their preparation by adding new activities over the next 2 weeks and beyond. Their ideas truly inspired me to take more action helping others. Please enjoy reading their booklets.

This is also the message of the Third Sunday in Advent gospel. John the Baptist tells us if we have two coats we need to donate one. The 8th grade class felt very motivated to do more for others. I wish all families a very Merry Christmas!
