I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend!
Our School Academic Fair is Wednesday evening ā open 6:00 to 7:15. Your children are excited to show their art projects and drawings. š
Friday we will enjoy a full day of school. If your schedule permits, join us for Mass Friday morning at 8:30.
Academics:
- Religion ā forgiveness ā explaining our feelings, saying āIām sorry,ā understanding what is means to be sorry and how to forgive others.
- The story of Zacchaeus and how Jesus forgave him.
- SLE focus C.3 Follow the Golden Rule
- Sight words, word families, letter/sound association, writing sentences using correct punctuation. Reading workshop has us reading non-fiction material and noting important facts.
- This week in math we will be measuring using standard units and graphing information on pets.
- Mystery Science ā How do plants and trees grow?
- Social studies ā more interesting facts about our Presidents.
Incoming Kindergarten Interviews this Saturday morning at 10:00. Contact our school office if you have a little one or know someone who has an interest in kindergarten this coming school year.
