Dear Families,
This is a busy week for the fifth grade class. We are starting new chapters in Math, Social Studies and Science! This Friday is a noon dismissal. March 4th is the School Fair. Both the written paper and display boards are due on Monday, March 2nd. Please email me with any questions. Below please see an overview of our week.
Religion: We will be having Stations of the Cross on Thursday at 2pm. Please join us if your schedule allows. I will be teaching the Virtus lessons this week in Religion.
Science: We begin chapter 6 this week. The focus this week is the Earth’s atmosphere.
Social Studies: We will analyze the characteristics of colonial New England towns. Our next states test will be next Thursday, March 5th.
Grammar: We will be taking our Unit 3 test this Thursday.
Vocabulary: Unit 7
Math: We will have our test on Tuesday. We will then begin unit 6. We will be reviewing landmarks and methods for organizing data. IXL sections for this week are C11 and C12.
