Dear Families,

This Friday is a noon dismissal.  We will be exchanging Valentine cards with the class.  Please make sure your student brings a valentine for each student. We have a total of 28 students in our class.   Your child may bring a card for their kindergarten buddy if they like.  Friday is also a free dress day.

Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  We are having our unit 5 test on Tuesday.  We will start unit 6 this week and our focus will be on line plots. Our IXL sections are V.1, read a table and V.2, interpret line graphs.

Vocabulary:  We will be working a review of units 1-6.  We will have our Unit 7 test on Tuesday.

Social Studies:  We will analyze whether the Boston Tea Party achieved the expected results.  We will take our chapter 7 test on February 16th.

Science:  We are focusing on how scientists gather data to predict weather.

Religion:  Our focus of this week is Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent.  We will be going to Mass on Wednesday.  Please join us if your schedule allows.
