Dear Kindergarten Parents and Families,
Kindergarten students are very excited. We are going on our first field trip! A walk to our neighborhood Fire Station escorted by Fireman Hoffman. 
Permission slips must be returned by Monday, November 21 in order for your child to attend.
Thank you for reading the website and finding the links for homework, I plan to use our web site resource as much as possible. Homework for this upcoming week will consist of a reading log / web log, a couple of games to print out, and academic web games. Click on reading-web log.nov.18-nov28 to view and print. Please record books read and site(s) visited. We are learning color words, please print out color memory match to help with learning color words. For a fun drawing game, print out turkey draw a paper with a turkey in need of body parts. There is a pattern to cut and form into a cube to complete the drawing.
List on the bottom of reading/web log sites visited and approximate time spend on computer. I enjoy your comments whether your child likes the site and the difficulty level. Please note homework is due on Monday, November 28.
In class we have been reading sight words and rhyming words from the ‘at’ family. As we read, we respond reviewing important details, discussing the characters and setting of the story. Time is spent on correct letter form.
We have been relating the groups of numbers in terms of more, less and equal. 
Dominos have been used to count and match. We will be working on number formation as well.
Our five senses pre-test was yesterday, we will follow with healthy living in the coming weeks. Learning about people in the community today and long ago is our Social Studies focus for this month.
- Wednesday, November 23 we attend Mass come join us if your schedule allows.
- School will be dismissed at 12:00 on Wednesday.
