Dear Kindergarten Families,

The fun starts on Wednesday! School starts at 7:50, many families arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early.   Please bring your child to the court yard area and look for the large K’s chalked on the cement. This is where we line up each morning.

The safety of your child is very important to us here at SHS, I walk our class all the way out to the set of planters in front of school. I would appreciate if you wait there for our line.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD FROM OUR LINE BEFORE WE REACH THE PLANTERS. I do not feel comfortable without making verbal contact as you pick up your child.

You may need for your child to attend Extended Day Care (EDC) which begins directly after school. If this is the case, please discuss with your child and let me know. Children are escorted to EDC  after school. Parents or adults with parent permission will need to sign their children out of EDC.

I can hardly wait to begin our year.  Our first assembly is tomorrow, promptly after the morning bell.
