I hope everyone enjoyed the long three day weekend!
This week in first grade, we are learning…
Language Arts: Review Week! We will spend our time this week reviewing contractions, long vowels, and reading biographies!
Spelling: No new spelling words this week!
Math: We will be wrapping up our unit in math. We will be practicing digital time and recording data. At the end of the week we will be taking our test!
Religion: We will be completing our Virtus lessons this week as well as discussing Ash Wednesday.
Science: In science we will be working from our chapter on weather. This week we will be discussing weather tools.
Social Studies: In social studies we will be working on our School Fair project!
Homework for the Week:
- Tuesday: Math Worksheet
- Wednesday: IXL.com Skill S.5
- Thursday: Math Worksheet
- Friday: Read two times!
Reminders for the Week:
- PE Uniforms on Tuesday and Thursday!
- Please remind your child to bring their library book on Tuesday so that they may check out a new one.
- Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday! We will be going to mass at 8:30am please join us if your schedule permits.
- We have an assembly on Thursday at 11am.
- Friday is a full day!
