Hello!
Spring is definitely in the air! We had a wonderful, “Read Across America” celebration that will continue with reading fiction and non-fiction stories from our 50 states. We began our 50 states map reading with our “Gingerbread Exchange” last December and they loved learning about where other students lived across the US!
In math, we will review addition but with an added addend (ex: 5+6+5). We are still discovering ways fractions can make up a whole, and what are odd and even numbers that are higher on our 100 number charts.
In religion, we are filling up our “Giving Tree”. If you need more leaves to write Lenten: prayer time, almsgiving (donating clothes, toys, helping around their homes), and fasting( cutting down sweets or video games) just send me a note! We will continue to focus on Lent and how they can make this season special.
We are so looking forward to seeing our families on Friday’s “Almost Spring Showcase”! We love it when you visit! A special thank you to our volunteers for helping during Primary Centers this past Friday as well! We have 1 more, “Primary Center” on Friday, April 19th. If you are Virtus trained please join us! Have a wonderful week!
