This month’s assembly began on March 17th as we honored the three level winners of The Joseph Palmisano Scholarship and then presented our basketball teams with the perpetual trophies each team earned following their victorious seasons winning first place in league and tournament play. On Tuesday, March 29 at an 11a assembly, each of the players will receive an individual trophy in celebration of the effort needed to create such a successful season for Sacred Heart School basketball. Please join us as the name of each player is called out by our Athletic Director, Marlene Petersen. Coach Martin Basaldua talked about the contributions each player brought to the boys’ basketball season at last Thursday’s Banquet, and Coach Peter Holguin will do the same for the girls’ team at their Banquet this Thursday. Our thanks to the coaches, players, families, and fans of Sacred Heart School Basketball! Go Cardinals!
Mrs. Benner
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
