Fourth Grade News

Fourth graders are excited to share their mission and gold rush projects at our Sacred Heart School Fair this Wednesday evening.  Please be sure and stop by our tables to have a look at all of the great presentations.

We are in the middle of our geometry unit and are having a good time drawing and learning about the various geometrical shapes.  This week our focus is on congruency and lines of symmetry.  The students have also been giving our geoboards a good workout!

Social Studies brings us to the study of when and how California became a state.  Students have finished their posters depicting various information about our great state.  These posters will be on display during the School Fair.  Our chapter 6 test will be this Friday.

Our students will participate in Tuesday’s World Math Day.  Our time for the computers is 8:30 to 9:15.  I know it will be an exciting 45 minutes.  We are very lucky to have such a fabulous computer lab and our wonderful Apple computers!
