Welcome back, I hope everyone had a wonderful two weeks!  I have had a great time visiting with friends and family, reading, resting, cooking, and eating too much.  It is certainly time to get back to a regular routine.

Thank you to our room moms for taking care of the Christmas party.  I am sorry to have missed it but have heard that it was a success!

I want to thank you all for your very generous Christmas gifts.  I will enjoy hitting the malls once the crowds finally thin out. My heart is full of gratitude.

This week we will begin several new units of study and will continue reading the novel, The Black Stallion.

Math:  Fractions

Science: Rocks and Minerals, chapter 5

Social Studies: Chapter 5 vocabulary

Religion: Honor Your Mother and Your Father (good one!)

This Friday is the annual Sacred Heart School Spelling Bee.  Please join us for this if you are available.  Friday is also a full day of school.

Weekly spelling tests will resume next week.
