Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Congratulations to our five poetry contest finalists… Andrew, Fiona, JJ, Caleb, and Sophia!
Here’s our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are slowly beginning our next unit! We will spend the week reviewing perimeter and reviewing multiplying fractions with whole numbers!
ELA:
-Writing: We are wrapping up our informative writing unit! We are in the process of finishing our westward expansion books and hope to celebrate our successes next week.
-Reading: We are continuing our Reading Responses. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
-Vocabulary: We are taking a break from Vocabulary until after Easter break!
-Spelling: Spelling Words come from Unit 30 this week. Our test will be on Friday this week.
Social Studies:We are beginning on our sixth chapter in our books. This week we will preview our vocabulary words!
Science:We are beginning Chapter 7: Slow Changes on Earth. We will be talking about weathering this week.
Religion:We are continuing to focus on the Beatitudes as we also work from our textbooks.
Homework:
Monday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill BB.1
Tuesday: Reading Response Journals – Math Worksheet
Wednesday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill S.1 – Study Spelling
Thursday: Reading Response Journals – Math Worksheet – Study Spelling

- SHS Theater presents Gold Dust or Buston Thursday at 6pm in Biedermann Hall.
- Stations of the Cross on Friday at 12:45pm in the church
