Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Here’s our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are wrapping up our unit! We plan to take our test by the end of the week!
ELA:
-Writing: We are working hard on our informative writing unit! We are in the process of moving from our second chapter to our third chapter in our westward expansion books.
-Reading: We are continuing our Reading Responses. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
-Vocabulary: We are on our second week of Unit 14. Remember that these words are available on SpellingCity.com for practice. We will be taking our test this week.
-Spelling: Spelling Words come from Unit 29 this week. Our test will be on Friday this week.
Social Studies:We are working on our fifth chapter in our books. This week we will review and prepare for our test in the middle of the week. You should see our books coming home to study!
Science:We are wrapping up our Chapter 6: Rapid Changes on Earth. We will be taking our test early this week.
Religion:We are taking this week to focus on the Beatitudes we have learned so far.
Homework:
Monday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill V.2 – Finish Spelling Classwork
Tuesday: Reading Response Journals – Math Worksheet – Study Social Studies
Wednesday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill Q.11 – Study Spelling
Thursday: Reading Response Journals – Study Spelling and Vocabulary
Friday: Have a great weekend!
School Notices:
- Library will be on Wednesday
- We will present our poems in class beginning on Thursday
- Stations of the Cross on Friday at 11am in the church
- Friday is a half-day of school.
