Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Here’s our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are continuing Unit 7 this week. We are working on adding and subtracting fractions this week.
ELA:
-Writing: We are putting the final touches on our Palmisano essays!
-Reading: We are continuing our Reading Responses. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! In class we are working on researching a topic
-Vocabulary: We are on our second week of Unit 12. Remember that these words are available on SpellingCity.com for practice. We will be taking our test this week.
-Spelling: Spelling Words come from Unit 26 this week. Our test will be on Friday
Social Studies:We are reviewing our fourth chapter in our books as we prepare to continue on to our fifth chapter.
Science:We are reviewing our Chapter 5: Rocks and Minerals. We will be taking our test on Thursday.
Religion:We are working from Chapter 20 this week. We are discussing how to live God’s laws.
Homework:
Monday: Reading Response Journals – Math Worksheet – Spelling p. 168-169
Tuesday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill Q.5
Wednesday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Math Skill Q.9
Thursday: Reading Response Journals –Math Worksheet – Study Vocabulary and Spelling
School Notices:
- Ash Wednesday mass is on Wednesday at 8:30am. Please join us if your schedule permits
- Library will be on Wednesday
- Friday is a full day of school.
- No school on Monday, March 11, as teachers have an in-service day.
- Report Cards go home on Tuesday, March 12.
