Dear Fourth Grade Families,
Here’s our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are wrapping up Unit 8! This week, we determine how to find the area of triangles!
ELA:
-Writing: We are beginning our new unit on Literary Essays
-Reading: We are continuing our Reading Responses. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! We are also continuing to read our historical fiction books and working on book clubs in the classroom!
-Vocabulary: We are continuing our next unit! We will be taking our vocabulary test this week.
-Spelling: Spelling Words come from Unit 33 this week. Our test will be on Thursday this week.
Social Studies:We are beginning our second lesson in our sixth chapter in our books- all about the Great Depression.
Science:We are continuing with Chapter 7: Slow Changes on Earth. This week we will be looking at our third lesson and moving into chapter review. We will be taking our test next week!
Religion:We are continuing our special religion project on Friday as we prepare to celebrate Mary in the month of May. We will also be working on our Beatitude Book.
Homework:
Monday: Reading Response Journals – Math Worksheet
Tuesday: Reading Response Journals – IXL Skill BB.9
Wednesday: Reading Response Journals – Study Spelling
Thursday: Reading Response Journals – Study Vocabulary
Friday: Have a great weekend!
