Congratulations to all of our participants in our Spelling Bee. Our 4th graders (Roman, Connor, Khloe, Izzy, Maleah, and Leila) did a marvelous job and Leila came in 2nd place! Woohoo! 🙌
Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are beginning Unit 6 this week. We will begin learning about division strategies!
ELA:
-Reading: Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! Again, I remind all to turn in our RRJs on our due date this week. All RRJs are due by 3pm. We continue to work from our second reading unit – nonfiction. We are researching a topic with our research team! Ask us about it!
-Writing: We are working from our second unit in writing – Personal Essays. We have been working hard to gather mini stories to support our claims.
-Spelling: We will have spelling this week! Please see your student’s daily planner for their words!
Social Studies:We are continuing to research our mission projects this week. This week, I also hope to send home a letter with a list of materials that may be used for our mission building. Stay tuned!
Science:We will be preparing for our Science test this week. We will take our time to do our chapter review to help us study for our test.
Religion:We are beginning Chapter 16 this week as we continue to move through our Ten Commandments.
