We made it to the final trimester!
Here’s our week in 4th grade…
Math: We are continuing with Unit 6. We will continue to learn about angels and their measurements as well as grids.
ELA:
-Writing: We are wrapping up our persuasive essays this week. We aim to celebrate our writing next week!
-Reading: We are going to begin our next unit in reading as we read to bring history to life. We are in our 3rd and final trimester which means we are writing 10 sentences in cursive for our RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week. This week is a fiction response. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class.
-Spelling: Please see your student’s daily planner for their new spelling words.
Social Studies: We are presenting our missions to our classmates this week in our classroom. We cannot wait to show them to you at the Showcase and Sweets on the 18th!
Science: We are continuing our 4th chapter in our science books as we look at lesson 2.
Religion: This week we will work on taking a closer look at our first Beatitude and learning a bit about St. Patrick.
